Support The Children
What We Do
The PTA at Pembroke is a group of volunteer parents that are committed to providing a dimensional experience for the students. With big events and small, fundraisers and community outings, the PTA works to promote the school – home relationship.
How We Connect
The PTA meets once per month, and has a staggered meeting schedule to accomodate as many families as possible. Our Wednesday evening meetings are at 7:00 pm, and our Friday morning meetings are at 9:00 am.
Parent Roles
The PTA is run by parent volunteers, some of whom volunteer frequently and some of whom provide support through their membership dues. You can choose your level of involvement based on your schedule, your child’s preferences or the needs of the community.
The Bigger Picture
Our unit of the PTA reports to the Birmingham Public School District, then to the Michigan State PTA, and the National PTA. While volunteering to help at a single event may not seem like an act to support education on a national level, local involvement with the PTA shows a commitment to providing a high quality educational experience for children.
